Our traditional carvery is served on Sundays from 12:00pm to 2:30pm.
At The Anchor Inn we pride ourselves on the quality of our cuisine which we try to position somewhere between traditional pub food and gourmet-quality fare. We use only the freshest ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible and expertly prepared by our head chef Tom.
Our menu changes regularly based on the ingredients available to us at any given time but you can be assured that our dishes offer the best of local fare cooked to the highest standards. We are lucky enough to have some of the finest produce right on our doorstep; the river Exe is renowned for the quality of its trout and salmon and it is well known that Exmoor deer provide some of the finest venison in England.
Every Sunday we offer a traditional carvery prepared to our usual high standards. This tends to be a very popular lunch so we encourage diners to book in advance during peak periods. Bookings for any service can be made by calling the number on the right.
